The National Volunteer Management Conference enables and enhances volunteering through the promotion of best practice in volunteer management.
The conference provides the opportunity for volunteer managers to spend some quality time on personal development, networking with colleagues and participating in a host of motivating focused on volunteer recruitment, retention, training, support and management.
This event is essential to anyone who manages volunteers as part of their role (paid or unpaid) or anyone interested in volunteer engagement in the Community & Voluntary Sector or the Corporate Sector. Attendees are welcome from Ireland and overseas.
We are delighted to announce that the National Volunteer Management Conference 2027 will take place on Tuesday, 27 April 2027, at glór in Ennis, County Clare. There could not be a more fitting location, as County Clare will be the European Volunteering Capital 2027.
The conference will bring together Leaders of Volunteers, volunteer managers and people passionate about creating positive volunteering experiences for a day of learning, inspiration, practical ideas and connection.
And the week does not stop there. The CEV Spring Volunteering Congress will also take place at glór on Wednesday, 28 and Thursday, 29 April, bringing people from across Europe to Clare to share ideas, build connections and celebrate the impact of volunteering.
Alongside both events, we will also welcome European partners for meetings connected with several of our Erasmus+ projects.
It is shaping up to be an action-packed week for volunteering, bringing together local, national and European perspectives in the European Volunteering Capital 2027.
